ToolMates Hire, a new online platform for people in Australia to find the tools they need – locally, at prices they are happy to pay; is launching a Kickstarter campaign this week. The project is part of a push to raise money to launch a mobile app.
What is Kickstarter?
Kickstarter is a funding platform for projects. Kickstarter is full of ambitious, innovative, and imaginative ideas that are brought to life through the direct support of others.Every project has a funding goal and a deadline. If people like the project, they can pledge money to make it happen. If the project succeeds in reaching its funding goal, all backers’ accounts are charged when time expires. If the project falls short of the funding goal, no one is charged. Funding on Kickstarter is all-or-nothing.
What do Backers of the Campaign get for their Money?
nWhen people back the project on Kickstarter, they receive a multitude of rewards for pledging their money. There are incremental pledges available, from just $2, all the way up to $4000. Rewards vary according to the pledge amount. Our sister company – ToolMatesIT (who will be building the app) have come onboard to offer some great rewards. Some examples… in person training on website design and development (Drupal & WordPress), building you a website, building you a mobile app, digital marketing services (social media), the list goes on! This is in addition to the expected T-shirts, pens, keyring and bottle openers etc that are on offer for smaller pledges.n
The ToolMates Hire App
nToolMates Hire has a strong vision for the future – to become the go to place for all things hire. We are building and growing our connections, with hundreds of new tools being listed on the site all over Australia, every month. We want to ensure as many people as possible have access to ToolMates Hire, and for the next step on this journey – it means building a mobile application. The app will streamline finding tools and equipment near you, and provide an easy, quick and secure method of hiring them at the swipe of your thumb.
